The (CM)² Board of Young Researchers (known as the “(CM)²-Nachwuchsring”) represents all PhD students, PostDocs and Junior Professors (Assistant Professors) who are involved in the research center (CM)². Goal of the  “(CM)²-Nachwuchsring” is to provide a network that enables information exchange as well as a variety of research training and workshops. Furthermore, the (CM)²-Nachwuchsring provides a promoting platform for the development of new interdisciplinary research ideas. Current Activities

Funding Opportunities of the (CM)²-Nachwuchsring

The (CM)²-Nachwuchsring funds interdisciplinary research projects and activities, including conference attendance, initiation and organization of specific workshops, financial support of invited lectures, special software packages, books and projects that are targeted specifically for young researchers. To request full or partial funding from the (CM)²-Nachwuchsring, please send a proposal to the following E-Mail-Adress. The proposal should be no longer than one A4-page and should contain at least the following items:

  1. Name of the young researcher
  2. Short description of the project or activity
  3. Estimated costs
  4. Relevance for (CM)²
